COFFEE COLORED PAIN

Trials and tribulations, reveals
a courage and
tencity as strong as any
columbian coffee

Find the inner-love that
lies within the inside that
keeps boiling, burning, and
crying for you

Hope, determination
moves us to reach for the joy
and appreciation that is
deserved, like loving we should
have

Then we realize that we don't
have to search for that certain
someone that can fill, a place
that needs, romance, emotions,
and the love that we yearn and
need

that special person has been
in search for us at fate's
beckoning moment will bring
us together to full fill
our destiny

so be yourself, go for the
sky, let the feelings flow,
because you are the most beautiful
thing in the world

so your pain is as black and
as dark as coffee and you
think no one cares, look over
you shoulder's and smile
because you know
i' ll be there.

T@K!NG Y0UR BR3@TH @W@Y

"THOSE NIGGERS DON'T BELONG HERE"
A WHOLE NEW WORLD
A BEAUTIFUL PLACE
BUT WITH UGLY PEOPLE
DEEP INSIDE I WALK THE LINE
THROUGH HELL!
WE DON'T LOOK OR ACT THE SAME
I FEEL TRAPPED INSIDE WITH NO WAY OUT
CRITICIZING AS THOUGH YOU'VE NEVER
SEEN ONE OF US BEFORE
GAWKING AS IF YOU CAN SEE OUR SOULS
FEELING ABANDONED AS THE SEA
SAME UNIVERSE
BUT DIVIDING INTO TWO WORLDS
WITH EACH COMMENT DISCRIMINATION EXPANDS
BROKEN HEAD LOWERED EYES
LOOKING IN DISGUST, SMILES TURNS INTO FROWNS.
YELLING!
CUSSING!
UNHAPPY ISN'T WHAT I EXPECTED TO FEEL
DEEP IN THOUGHT WONDERING IF I SHOULD LEAVE
INSTEAD OF STAYING&FEELING UNWANTED
NOT WANTING TO BE RUDE
I KEEP MY ANGER BOTTLED IN.
YOU LOOK AT ME AND POINT
I WALK WITH MY HEAD HANGING DOWN
WITH SUCH SHAME BUT INSIDE I DON'T KNOW WHY I HAVE TO
I SHOULD BE PROUD OF MY CULTURE
DON'T JUDGE ME IF YOU DON'T KNOW ME.
AS I WALK THROUGH YOUR STREETS
MY STOMACH STARTS TO TURN
IT'S A LITTLE THING CALLED COURAGE!
MY HEAD STARTS TO RISE, I START TO GLOW WITH HAPPINESS
YOU LOOK AT ME IN A STUPOR,
BUT I DON'T CARE CAUSE I NOW SEE ME OVERCOMING MY FEAR
I NOW KNOW THAT I AM"TAKING YOUR BREATH AWAY."
AND ALSO THAT "WE NIGGERS DO BELONG HERE."
